Earl A. Foxe, 64, of Napoleon, OH died early this morning (Sunday) at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio.
Earl Albert Foxe, Jr., 64, of Napoleon, OH died early Sunday morning, Nov. 29, 2009 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.
He was born November 5, 1945 in Toledo to the late Earl & Margaret (Baker) Foxe, Sr. On September 6, 1969 he married Janet Miller at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Richfield Center.
Earl was a lineman for Embarq, formerly Sprint for over 25 years. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Rivercity Rodders, and the Bert G. Taylor Post #300 American Legion, all of Napoleon. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Janet; children, Earl (Becki) Foxe, Jr., and Heather (Craig) Tipton, both of Napoleon; 2 step grandchildren; sisters, Margaret (Ray) Pawlaczysk of Holland, and Earlene Brown of Swanton. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara; children, Scott, Shan, Shannon, Tammy, and Earl Foxe, Jr.; sisters, Dorothy & Dolores Foxe, and Virginia Malczewski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Napoleon with Fr. Dan Borgelt officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens of Defiance, where military honors will be accorded by the Napoleon Joint Veteran Posts.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon.
The family suggests memorials to the American Kidney Foundation.
