Lois Mae Schueler, 81, of Napoleon, Ohio died Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
Lois M. Foster-Schueler, 81, of Napoleon, died December 9, 2009 at Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born September 14, 1928 in Holgate, Ohio to the late Glen E. and Ilo M. (Hoffman) Eis. In 1951, she married Orville E. Foster who preceded her in death in 1979. In 1984, Lois married Leo Schueler, who died in February of 1995.
Lois worked at the Farm Service Agency (ASC) in Napoleon for 32 years. She also worked for the Agriculture Adjustment Stabilization Association, State Farm Insurance Company, Dollar General, and Henry Co. Board of Elections, all in Napoleon.
Lois was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Napoleon, the American Legion Post #340 Auxiliary of Holgate, and was a former Sunday school teacher and praise singer at St. John Lutheran Church in Holgate. She loved spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by children, Reva (James) Eisaman of Napoleon, OH, William (Mary) Foster of Oconomowoc, WI; grandchildren, Jamie Kleck of Archbold and Joshua (Melinda) Eisaman of Perrysburg; great grandchildren, Riley and Reese Kleck, Olivia and Carter Eisaman; stepchildren, James (Donna) Schueler of Swanton, OH, Mary Ann (David) Hurd of Conroe, Texas; step grandchildren, Joseph, Jason, Chad, Garth, Rebecca, Michael, and Douglas; step great grandchildren; Jacob, Joshua, Casey, Conner, Nathan, Owen, Wyatt, Camille, Katherine, Sophia, and James. She was also preceded in death by a brother, William Eis.
Visitation will be at the Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon on Friday, December 11 from 2-8 p.m. and 1 hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon with Fr. Daniel Borgelt officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Memory Gardens in Defiance.
The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
