Virginia Miller, 78, of Defiance, Ohio died this Saturday morning at Akron City Hospital in Akron, Ohio.

Virginia Ann (Behnfeldt) Miller, 78, of rural Ridgeville Corners, Ohio died Saturday morning, December 19, 2009 at Akron City Hospital.
She was born June 22, 1931 in Ridgeville Corners to the late Ferd and Lorena (Rohrs) Behnfeldt. On August 1, 1954 she married John J. Miller who survives in rural Ridgeville Corners.
Virginia was a lifetime member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Ridgeville Corners where she was baptized and confirmed. She was a recording Secretary/ Treasurer of the Sunday School, Past President of the Women of the Church and Ladies Aid.
Virginia was the Ridgeville Township Clerk for 23 years retiring on April 1, 2008. She was a former telephone operator at Ridgeville Telephone Company for a number of years and a partner and a major contributor to the daily needs of the family dairy farm. She was a regular blood donor , having donated 10 Gallons of Blood to the Local Blood Bank. She was a 1949 Graduate of Ridgeville High School and was an important part of everything she touched, including her family, friends and church.
She is survived by her husband, John, sons, Scott (Sharilyn) Miller, Kevin (Toni) Miller both of Ridgeville Corners,Ohio, Kurt (Terri) Miller of Marengo, Ohio, and Kent (Pam) Miller of Napoleon, Ohio; grandchildren, Shawn (Josh) Amer, Sheena and Shonda Miller, Rachel Miller, Eric (Whitney) Miller, Kylene Miller, Amie, Adam, Allison and Alec Miller; brother, Paul (Margaret) Behnfeldt, Deshler, Ohio and a special nephew Ross (Natalie) Behnfeldt of Centerville, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Ridgeville Corners, Ohio officiating Pastor Vicky Coombs. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-9 p.m. at the Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon and Tuesday 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
The family suggests memorials to St. Peter Lutheran Church or Ridgeville Township Volunteer Fire Department.
