Robert "Bob" Huntington, 82, of Deshler, Ohio died Sunday morning, December 27, 2009 at the Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green, Ohio.

July 13, 1928-December 27, 2009Robert Huntington, 82, of Deshler, Ohio died Sunday, December 27, 2009 at Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green, Ohio.
He was born July 13, 1927 in College Corner, Ohio to the late Herbert and Mary (McDivitt) Huntington. On August 7, 1971 he married Beverly Sue Shutz and she preceded him in death on October 31, 1997.
Robert retired in 1999 from Consolidated Biscuit, McComb, Ohio. He was the former owner/operator of the Cardinal Food Store, Deshler and former manager for the Hub Market, Leipsic and Centerville/Richmond Cutter Grocery, Richmond, Indiana.
He was a member of New Beginnings United Methodist Church, Deshler where he was a member of the Administrative Board, a trustee, usher and active with the Kids Club; Sycamore Lodge #520 F & A.M.; Order of Eastern Star Chapter #68, both of Deshler; Deshler American Legion Post #316; Leipsic Eagles #466 and VFW Post #9547, Leipsic.
Robert is survived by four daughters, Nancy Showalter, Toledo, Ohio; Laura Sisley, Deshler, Ohio; Nancy McEneney, Corneluis, North Carolina and Chris Lilly, Indianapolis, Indiana; two sons, David (Virginia) Huntington, Loxley, Alabama and Dale (Susie) Huntington, Valley Center, California; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; three sisters, Shirley Klein, Richmond, Indiana; Ann Revelee, Jacksonville, North Carolina and Joanie Brown, Brookhaven, Mississippi and brother, Jerry (Kathy) Huntington, Richmond, Indiana.
He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Charles, James, Harry, Donald and Thomas Huntington.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler with Pastor Janet Lewis-Cattell officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow at the church.
Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday at College Corner Cemetery, College Corner, Ohio.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home where a Masonic Service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
The family suggests memorials to New Beginnings United Methodist Church or Donor's Choice.
