Ronald Lee Yarnell, 73, of Napoleon, Ohio died Thursday, February 25th, 2010 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center.

   Ronald Lee Yarnell, 73, of Napoleon, Ohio died Thursday, February 25, 2010 at the Community Health Professionals of Defiance.  He was born June 28, 1936 in Liberty Center, Ohio to the late Henry Charles Yarnell and Mabel Frybarger. On December 22, 1987, he married Malinda (Weber) Yarnell in Napoleon, Ohio, who still survives. 

   Ron was a retiree of Tenneco, Inc. in Napoleon. He was a member of McClure United Methodist Church, McClure American Legion, Napoleon AMVETS, and AFLCIO.

   He is also survived by a daughter, Linda (Marion) Sullivan of Daphne, AL; son, Richard (Teresa) Yarnell of Aiken, SC; granddaughters, Jessica & Britney Yarnell; grandson, Baker Yarnell; brother, Frank (Sylvia) Yarnell of McClure; sister Sharon (Vern) Hoffman of Liberty Center; step granddaughters, Amanda Strayer & Ashley McGilvery; step great granddaughter, Reagan Simon, and beloved pet, Smokey.  He was preceded in death by son Randall Yarnell and by brother Richard Yarnell.

   Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Waterville, Ohio where military honors will be accorded by the United States Army Detail and the McClure American Legion.

   Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday at the Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon and on Monday 1 hr prior to the funeral at the funeral home.

   The family suggests memorial contributions to the Community Health Professionals of Defiance or American Cancer Society.
