Raymond F. Hagen, 94, of Deshler, Ohio died Sunday morning, February 28, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio.

November 2, 1915-February 28, 2010Raymond F. Hagen, 94, of Deshler, Ohio died Sunday morning, February 28, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio.
He was born November 2, 1915 in Hamler, Ohio to the late Albert and Wilhelmina (Baden) Hagen. On September 1, 1940 he married Florence I. Rayle and she preceded him in death on December 13, 2008.
Ray was a lifetime farmer. He was currently a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Hamler, where he was a Sunday School Superintendent and teacher; and previously a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Deshler. He was a member of the Henry County Soil & Water Conservation Board; Farm Bureau; Leipsic Fox Hunter Group; Nut Growers Association; and former Boy Scout Leader.
Ray is survived by his children; Kenneth (Jane) Hagen, Lewis Center, Ohio; Kathleen (William) Militzer, Brighton, Michigan; David (Caren) Hagen, Findlay, Ohio; Linda (Eugene) Gierke, Seward, Nebraska; James (Judy) Hagen, Perrysburg, Ohio; Bruce (Kathy) Hagen, Columbia Falls, Montana and Melissa (Paul) Yarian, Perrysburg, Ohio; 19 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren; two sisters, Esther Sonnenberg, Napoleon, Ohio; Arlene Rathge, Sylvania, Ohio; sister-in-laws, Marie Hagen, Defiance, Ohio; Janet Parthemore, Woodbury, Pennsylvania; Carolyn (Bill) Powell, Leipsic, Ohio; Ruth Rayle, Cleveland, Ohio; and brother-in-law, Donald (Waneta) Rayle, Troy, Ohio.
He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Brian Gierke; sisters, Edna Conley and Lavina Asmus, and brothers, Louis Hagen and Arnold Hagen.
Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Hamler with Pastor Sharon Stonerock officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler.
Visitation is from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Friday at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler and from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Stephen Lutheran Church or Donor's Choice.
