Hildegarde W. Scholl, 105, of Archbold, Ohio and formerly of Deshler, Ohio died Wednesday evening, April 14, 2010 at Fairlawn Haven, Archbold.

   Hildegarde Scholl, 105, of Archbold, Ohio and formerly of Deshler, Ohio died Wednesday evening, April 14, 2010 at Fairlawn Haven, Archbold.
   She was born May 9, 1904 in Henry County, Ohio to the late August and Minnie (Ludeman) Springhorn.  On October 14, 1928 she married August Scholl at St. John Lutheran Church, Deshler.  August and Hildegarde lived on their farm south of Deshler until 1969 when they moved into the Village of Deshler.  They enjoyed many years spending their winters in Bradenton, Florida.  After August passed away in 1983, Hildegarde made her residence in Archbold to be closer to her daughter. 
   Hildegarde graduated from Westhope High School in 1922 and from the Bowling Green State Normal College in 1925.  She was a teacher for 23 years, having taught at Ballmer Country School in Richfield Township; Grelton Elementary; Napoleon Elementary and Deshler Elementary.  She retired in 1966. 
   She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Deshler and the Women of the Church.  She was also a member of the Henry County Retired Teachers Association and the Ohio State Teachers Association.
   She is survived by a son, Paul (Donna) Scholl of Tuscon, Arizona and daughter, Alice (Jerry) Geiger of Archbold; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
   Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Deshler with Pastor Christinia Seibel officiating.  Interment will be in West Belmore Cemetery, Belmore, Ohio.
   Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday at Fairlawn Haven Chapel, Archbold and from 2-3 p.m. on Monday prior to the services at the church.
   The family suggests memorials to Fairlawn Haven, Immanuel Lutheran Church or West Haven Assisted Living Center.
