Esther A. Hahn, 89, of Napoleon, Ohio died Saturday evening, May 1, 2010 at the Henry County Hospital, Napoleon, Ohio.
Esther Anna Hahn, 89, of Napoleon, Ohio died Saturday, May 1, 2010 at the Henry County Hospital in Napoleon. She was born July 23, 1920 in Monroe Twp., Henry County to the late Frank and Emma (Witte) Rohrs. On July 15, 1945, she married Otto Hahn at St. Paul Lutheran Church-Napoleon Twp. He preceded her in death on July 21, 1995.
Esther was an employee of the the former Community Bank of Napoleon, where she worked for 25 years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church - Napoleon Twp., a Sunday school teacher and a member of the women of the church. She was a member of the Henry County Hospital Auxiliary and worked frequently at the gift shop.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathryn (Norman) Bostelman of Napoleon, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Darlynn Hahn of Etewanda, Calif.; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; brother, William (Irmagard) Rohrs of Napoleon, Ohio; and sister, Marian Fitzenreiter of Liberty Center, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a son, Frank H. Hahn on August 13, 2002 and brothers, Walter, Arthur, Frank, Paul, and Martin Rohrs, and sisters, Edna Meyer and Christine Kruse.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 5, at St. Paul Lutheran Church-Napoleon Twp. with Pastor Franklin Hayes officiating.
Visitation will be held from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon, and 1 hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.
The family suggest memorial donations to St. Paul Lutheran Church - Napoleon Twp., the Napoleon Lutheran Home or to a charity of the donor's choice.
