Erma S. Parker, 91, of Deshler, Ohio died Thursday evening, June 3, 2010 at Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green, Ohio.

   Erma S. Parker, 91, of Deshler, Ohio died Thursday evening, June 3, 2010 at Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green, Ohio.
   She was born March 6, 1919 in Henry County, Ohio to the late Amos C. and Lillian M. (Rader) Bishop.  On August 18, 1944 she married Kenneth E. Parker in Jacksonville, Florida and he preceded her in death on September 10, 1972.
   Erma was a 1937 graduate of Deshler High School.  During World War II; while her husband was serving in the Army, she worked at the Tripplet Corporation in Bluffton, Ohio.  After the war, she continued to work in Deshler at the former Deshler Food Center, IMCO Poultry and Dekalb Hybrids.
   She was a member of New Beginnings United Methodist Church, Deshler and the former St. Paul United Methodist Church and St. Paul E.U.B. Church, both of Deshler.  For many, many years she was a member of the WIBC and bowled at Deshler Lanes.  She was the 2nd Director of the former Pirates Inn Teen Center, Deshler.
   Erma is survived by two sons, Dennis (Janis) Parker and Roger (Linda) Parker, both of Deshler; two daughters, Marolyn (Frederick) Bostelman, Archbold, Ohio and Carolyn Hiser, Deshler; 11 grandchildren, Joe (Vanessa) Parker, Tracy (Tim) Black, Andrea Summers, Brian Parker, Kenneth (Tammy) Bostelman, Kimberly (Shawn) Netcher, Kevin (Wendy) Bostelman, Kraig Bostelman, Brent Hiser, Tony (Tiffany) Hiser and Sgt Andrew Hiser; 16 great grandchildren, Autumn Parker, Apryl Parker, Sam Black, Ben Black, Jake Black, Nicholas Summers, Amanda Summers, Samantha Netcher, Alexandria Netcher, Dierks Netcher; Hayley Bostelman, Tyler Bostelman, Emma Bostelman; Mondesi Walters; Hayden Hiser and Livia Hiser; 1 great great granddaughter, Kyleigh Dehner and brother, R. Gene (Bernita) Bishop, McComb, Ohio.
   She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Merle Bishop and Cpl Joe R. Bishop; and a son-in-law, Michael Hiser.
   Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at New Beginnings United Methodist Church, Deshler with Pastor Amy Haines officiating.  Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler and a luncheon will follow in the church basement.
   Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. on Monday at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler.
   The family suggests memorials to the church or Oak Grove Healthcare Center Activities Fund.
