Estelle Weaver, 64, of Bowling Green, Ohio formerly of McClure and Malinta, Ohio, died July 4.
Estelle Marie Weaver, 64, of Bowling Green, Ohio formerly of McClure and Malinta, Ohio died July 4, 2010 at Wood County Hospital in Bowling Green, Ohio. She was born July 17, 1945, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Donald N. and Estelle Marie (Butler) Dieckman. On February 4, 1984 she married the Rev. Richard M. Weaver in Cleveland, Ohio.
Estelle was a homemaker and worked for many years in retail shops in the Cleveland area. She assisted her husband in pastoral work in many churches after their marriage and was known for her puppet ministry for the children during the services. She loved helping people as much as her health would allow, and was dedicated to her religious beliefs. She was a former member of the WELCA groups of the churches, a member of the evangelism committees, Sunday and Bible School teacher and Christian Education Committees of both St. Paul Lutheran Church, McClure and Trinity Lutheran Church, Malinta. Since Richard's retirement she was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Bowling Green, Ohio.
She is survived by her husband Richard Weaver of Bowling Green, Ohio, and a sister, April Ann (Alva) Dieckman-Hall of Cleveland Heights, Ohio and nephews, Matthew and Joshua Hall.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at Hope Lutheran Church, 13507 Cloverdale Road, Bowling Green, Ohio. Officiating are Bishop Marcus Lohrmann and Pastors Dan Bell, Melanie Haack and David Klappenbach. A lunch will follow at the church fellowship hall. Interment will be held on Saturday at 1pm at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14609 Brookpark Road, Cleveland, Ohio.
Friends may call from 2-8 pm on Thursday at the Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon, and 1 hour prior to services at the church on Friday.
The family suggests memorials to the Cleveland Clinic, St. Paul Lutheran Church, McClure, Trinity Lutheran Church, Malinta or Hope Lutheran Church, Bowling Green.
