Winifred Ruth Van Horn, age 87, formerly of Toledo, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Winifred was born July 15, 1922 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Frederick and Ethel McCann Weddle. She attended DeVilbiss High School and worked at LaSalle's/Macy's for more than 25 years until her retirement in 1987. Winifred was married to her beloved husband, Homer Ray, for 38 years until his death in 1983. She was a wonderful Mother and Grandmother, who loved family get togethers and celebrations and reading. She leaves behind her son Richard and wife, Dianna, DeFuniak Springs, FL; son Thomas and wife, Sara, Rapid City, SD; daughter Winifred Bowman, Navarre, FL; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A private service will be held and interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler, Ohio. She was Catholic by faith.
