Eleonore Bischoff, 77, of Archbold died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at the Golden Living Center - Northcrest in Napoleon.
Eleonore Bischoff, 77, of Ridgeville Corners, Ohio died early Sunday morning, July 25, 2010 at the Golden Living Center - Northcrest in Napoleon.
She was born April 16, 1933 in Freedom Twp., Ohio to the late Carl & Elizabeth (Knobloch) Badenhop. On June 19, 1952, she married Arnold H. Bischoff at St. John Lutheran Church, Freedom Twp., who survives.
Eleonore was a homemaker and life member of St. John Lutheran Church. She was active in the church choir and ladies aide. She was a member of the Ridgeville American Legion auxiliary and life member of Napoleon VFW auxiliary.
She is also survived by children, Larry Bischoff and LeRoy (Dawn) Bischoff, both of Napoleon, Carma Bischoff and Glen Bischoff, both of Defiance; grandchildren, Dan (Kim) Bischoff, Eric (Lesa) Bischoff, Laurie Bischoff, Rechelle Bischoff, and Elisha Bischoff; great grandsons, James, Andrew, Kwinton, and Jarrett; sisters, Irmgard (Bill) Rohrs of Napoleon, and Ruth Ann (Norm) Nickels of McClure; and sister-in-law, Ruth Badenhop-Smith of Delta.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Werner Badenhop.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at St. John Lutheran Church, Freedom Twp. with Pastor Stephen Niermann officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon and 1 hr prior the service at the church on Wednesday.
The family suggests memorials to St. John Lutheran Endowment Fund, Ridgeville Twp. Fire & Rescue, Northwest Ohio Alzheimer's Association, or Hospice of Henry County.
