Our Story

Learn our story, from the beginning and into the future.

When C.C. "Bud" and Evelyn Rodenberger moved from Alger and Lima in 1948 they had a vision and dream of helping others. They build the funeral home with compassion around the community and became an integral part in make people feel comfortable. Many see death as just the end of a life or as a small blip of grief. We see it as a time for reflection, appreciation, and even a celebration of a loved one's life. This is evident in everything we do, from the way we conduct our services to the amenities we choose to offer. We are a close-knit community dedicated to honoring, sharing and preserving the amazing and inspirational stories that are life.

The legacy Continues.

The Rodenberger Funeral Home has been owned and operated by the Rodenberger family since 1948. When Bud and Evelyn Rodenberger retired in 1978, their daughter, Jerrie (Rodenberger) Gray followed in the family heritage and became a funeral director and President of the family business.  Over the years they have gathered around them a staff of caring, compassionate funeral professionals, dedicated to serving local families in their time of need.  As of 2019, the business is owned operated by Jerrie's youngest son and third generation funeral director, Brooke Gray.
